What I Would Add Fiber to

Riding home from the grocery store on Sunday my son called up to me from the back seat of the van, “Mom, you should tell your boss to add your fiber to candy.  Then moms would let kids eat more candy, and the candy would be good for them.”

I smiled for so many reasons.  I said “Honey, I know my boss wants to add fiber to candy, but we have to tell the people who make the candy to add the fiber”.  He said, “Don’t you know any of them, Mom?”

I do, of course, “know some of them” and I am hoping that some of them will add fiber to candy.  We all like to indulge, most of us too much.  My son knows that he isn’t allowed to have candy very often because it isn’t good for you to have a lot.  My son understands that the fiber I have been working on, PROMITOR™ Soluble Corn Fiber, adds numerous health benefits to foods and beverages.

I am sure he is just motivated by eating more candy, but I was proud that he was figuring it out.  If we all just make our products a little healthier, it can have big benefits on our end health.  If we can just make a slightly better food or beverage choice each time, it would make an impact on our health.  We need more fiber, we need to consume less calories, and we still need to enjoy life.  That is why I am proud to work on PROMITOR™ Soluble Corn Fiber, so I can help make a difference.
